About AA Images
AA Images is a provider of curated wall art for home and office. Each image is carefully chosen by us and processed to ensure it prints exactly as the artist intended.
We review many images on a daily basis to identify images that would be suitable for inclusion in our collections. The images we choose reflect our own preferences and interests – for example, you will find several examples of Space Art in our collections. This results in a collection of art that features certain styles and subjects, to the exclusion of others. For this we are completely unapologetic. The guiding principle we adopt is that every print we produce should be one that we are happy to hang on our own wall at home.
For us its not just about the image, it is also about how it is produced and presented. We spend a significant amount of energy deciding on the correct format for each collection. We then seek out the very best printers for that particular format to print the image.
Below are details of our favourite formats.
ChromaLuxe HD Aluminium Panels

Many of our images are presented as ChromaLuxe HD Aluminium panels. We love ChromaLuxe panels because the vibrant colours, intricate detailing and modern appearance.
ChromaLuxe is a dye sublimation process where the ink is applied to the aluminium using heat and pressure. This causes the inks to fuse with the surface of the aluminium resulting in a high gloss image which does not fade, is unaffected by heat and is resistant to scratches.
ChromaLuxe panels are supplied ready to hang. They do not require framing and give a minimalist appearance where the focus is on the image rather than the surrounding frame.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Canvas Wrap
Some images do not suit the high gloss finish of ChromaLuxe HD Aluminium panels. For these images we will often produce them as canvas wraps which preserves the no-frame minimalist style but has a softer surface finish.
In recent years canvas wraps have gained something of a tarnished reputation. This is due to the large numbers of low quality, mass produced canvas wraps available in many stores and supermarkets. However, canvas wraps can be high quality pieces of art, every bit as detailed and durable as other forms of art presentation.
We believe our canvas wraps are of the highest quality obtainable. They are produced using the finest materials and printing techniques. These include:
- Using archival-quality close-weave poly-cotton canvas that is acid and lignite-free.
- Images printed using the giclee method on advanced large-format printers that print at up to 2400 dpi using a 12-colour pigment ink system, for smooth graduations, deep blacks, and an impressive colour range.
- The use of knotless, kiln-dried pine stretcher bars, from sustainable sources.
- Traditional construction methods with finger jointing and built-in corner wedges that make it easy to tighten the canvas.
- The application of UV canvas vanish which prevents fading and cracking.
Giclee Prints

Sometimes, images look best when displayed in a mount and framed. For these images we utilise the highest quality Giclee printing methods. Typically this requires a specialised printer using pigment-based archival inks and the use of archival quality printing papers from renowned manufacturers such as Hahnemuhle and Canson. We carefully match the image to the different paper finishes available to produce a print that brings out the best qualities of the image.
All this care and attention results in a museum-quality print which should last in excess of 200 years.
We normally supply Giclee prints unmounted, but can also supply them mounted or fully framed. Simply contact us with your requirements.
