Description
This fascinating piece of space art is based on an image taken by the Hubble Telescope in 2009.
The image shows a dying star. The “wings” are rolling cauldrons of gas at a temperature of 20,000ºC. The butterfly shape is formed by a ring of dust around the middle of the nebula. This obscures the view and forms the pinched “waist” at the centre of the image.
The image is printed in a 1.2mm thick Aluminium sheet using dye sublimation ChromaLuxe technology. This produces an image that is stunning in its quality and level of detail. Printing on aluminimum results in a glossy image with bright whites and vivid colours.
The space art image is simple to hang and is supplied with a hanging kit. A range of image sizes is available.
