Description

The Crab is an amazing piece of space art that would look great in your living room, dining room, bedroom or office.

The picture is of the Crab Nebula. Possibly one of the most studied objects in astronomy, and one of the most intricately structured and highly dynamical objects ever observed.  The nebula itself is vast, over 6 light years wide and is the result of a Supernova explosion, which was observed on Earth 1,000 years ago. The blue light is created by a pulsar at its centre flashing at a rate of 30 times a second whilst the other colours represent different gases within the structure.

The image is printed in a 1.2mm thick Aluminium sheet using dye sublimation ChromaLuxe technology. This produces an image that is stunning in its quality and level of detail. Printing on aluminimum results in a glossy image with bright whites and vivid colours.

The space art image is simple to hang and is supplied with a hanging kit. A range of image sizes is available.
