These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of aa-images.co.uk (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1. About us

The Site is operated by AA Images Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13171115, with a registered address of Orchard Cottage, Moccas, Hereford, HR2 9LQ, United Kingdom (“AA Images”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at admin@aa-images.co.uk.

We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the prices shown on the Site.

2. Our products

We sell art prints, historic map reproductions, space imagery, photographic prints, and greeting cards. All products are printed and fulfilled in-house at our own premises.

We have made every effort to display the colours and details of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen will exactly match the finished printed product, as this can be affected by your device’s display settings.

3. Orders and how a contract is formed

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not mean your order has been accepted — it is an acknowledgement that we have received it.

A legally binding contract between you and AA Images is formed only when we dispatch your order, at which point we will send you a dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch, for example if an item is unavailable, if there is a pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity — in which case we will notify you and refund any payment already made.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices on the Site are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occasionally occur; if we discover a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before proceeding, and you may choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.

Payment is taken securely at checkout via WooCommerce Payments, which supports credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a range of other payment methods. Full payment is required before your order is dispatched.

5. Delivery

We ship to a wide range of countries, in addition to the United Kingdom. Delivery costs and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout before you complete your order and depend on your delivery destination and the shipping method selected.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you once they are delivered to the address you provided at checkout.

For orders shipped outside the UK, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These are not included in the price you pay us and are your responsibility.

6. Your right to cancel and return items

If you are a consumer ordering from within the UK or the European Union, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, without needing to give a reason.

7. Faulty or misdescribed products

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a legal right to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product you receive is faulty, damaged in transit, or does not match its description, please contact us at admin@aa-images.co.uk — see our Refund and Returns Policy for the process and timeframes that apply.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including product images, artwork, photographs, map reproductions, text, and design, is owned by or licensed to AA Images Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Purchasing a physical print from us gives you ownership of that physical item only. It does not transfer any copyright or licence to reproduce, scan, or otherwise copy the image for further distribution or commercial use.

9. Accounts

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us immediately at admin@aa-images.co.uk if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, introducing viruses or other harmful material, or using the Site in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

11. Our liability

We provide the Site and our products with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, our liability to you for any loss arising from your use of the Site or purchase of a product is limited to the price you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of income or business opportunity, except where that loss is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we run our business. The version of the Terms that applied at the time you placed an order will govern that order. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
